Imagine traveling between your Scottsdale, Arizona, and Park City homes with your dog by your side. That’s exactly what my next-door neighbor does. After traveling on JSX, she is never going back to Delta.
As the Park City real estate market evolves and grows, so does the sophistication of our visitors. We are excited to share that travelers coming to and from our mountain town from some of our biggest feeder markets now have more elevated travel options than ever, complementing our excellent Salt Lake City International Airport (recently named best airport in the U.S. by AirHelp, as reported by Travel and Leisure).
Semi-Private Air Travel to Park City
If you are seeking a more luxe option for flights or traveling with pets, semi-private travel is a great option. For those unfamiliar with the world of semi-private air travel, allow me to introduce you to two carriers reshaping the journey to Park City: Aero and JSX.
Aero is a semi-private aviation company designed to offer a “private jet–style” experience without the cost of chartering your own aircraft. Aero operates small, stylish aircraft with only a handful of seats. Travelers check in at private lounges, board quickly, and enjoy premium service throughout the flight – think curated snacks, attentive staff, and a calm, boutique atmosphere.
JSX is a flight service that blends the convenience of private aviation with the affordability of commercial flights. JSX operates 30-seat jets from private terminals, meaning you can show up just 20 minutes before departure, skip TSA lines entirely, and board directly from a lounge. The vibe is relaxed and efficient, and every seat includes perks like free checked bags, cocktails, and no middle seats.

Local Airports Servicing Aero & JSX
Aero will be flying in and out of Heber Valley Airport and features a partnership with Deer Valley and Stein Eriksen Lodging. Their flights are limited to and from Los Angeles by way of Van Nuys Airport. JSX operates out of the private terminal at the Salt Lake Airport with routes to Orange County, Los Angeles (Burbank), Las Vegas, Scottsdale, and Dallas.
Have you flown semi-private? If so, what are your thoughts? What impact do you think it will have on skiers from Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Orange County, Dallas, and Scottsdale?
