We watched the 4th of July Parade from the front of the Summit Sotheby’s office on Main Street. The parade was especially exciting for us this year as my son, Lance, was playing the trumpet in the Ecker Hill Middle School float. Many folks commented that the parade seemed better attended than in years past. Perhaps that is because fireworks were cancelled in town due to the risk of forest fire, so the parade was the best way to celebrate the holiday. We even had a celebrity sighting. Billy Bush and his family were watching the parade with us. He told us he has a second home in Park City. He was super friendly.
This weekend we are participating in the Park City Food and Wine Festival. Write back with your plans for the summer. I’ll post them on my blog next week.
