Here is a little secret: if you buy new construction, you avoid multiple offers. Another upside is that you lock in today’s prices for tomorrow’s closing. This is happening right now with a client who has had a new construction condominium in Park City reserved for 2 years. He now has $200,000 worth of equity prior to closing. While this is an extreme case in a rising market, it is a true story. The downside is that you need to be patient for your home to be built.
About Park City Heights
Park City Heights is a new community built by Ivory Homes. The community includes open space, a community park, clubhouse, and pool. Located just 5 minutes from skiing, Historic Main Street, shopping, and golf, Park City Heights is the only new Park City community that is part of the prestigious Park City School District.
The architecture of these homes has been very well received. The modern exterior is complemented by open, light-filled interiors. Standard features include custom cabinetry, wood flooring, bathroom tile flooring and surrounds, upgraded appliances, upgraded railings, and quartz countertops. Each home comes with a 10-year limited warranty plan.
Choosing a home is easy. First, you walk the available homesites and decide where you want to build your home. Homesites currently range in price from about $680,000-$755,000. Prices vary depending on the size of the homesite and view corridor. Then, you pick the floor plan you would like Ivory to build on your lot. The price to build per square foot ranges from about $180-$206. This is about half of what you would expect to pay for a custom home build in Park City.
Plus, the architecture has already been completed, saving at least 6 months from a custom build. There are a dozen plans to choose from and hundreds of finish choices, so your home will not look like your neighbor’s. A brand new home at Park City Heights starts at just $1,592,000.
I think this is one of Park City’s best values. Park City Heights is a great community and I would be delighted to help you select the perfect property. What an opportunity to establish yourself in Park City’s newest community. Can you imagine being able to buy in Park Meadows 40 years ago?

I have worked in several of these homes helping new home owners to unpack and get settled. From an organizing perspective, I think that they are designed and laid out beautifully. They have great kitchens, closets and garages. All important spaces for families.
Thanks for your comment Michelle!
Thanks for sharing, I am making my mind. Are there any Bungalows in that community as well?
