When I meet with buyers looking to relocate to Park City or buy a second home, I always mention the friendly culture of this town as one of its unique qualities. Reading the lastest issue of ForbesLife, the lifestyle magazine of Forbes, I felt vindicated that the writer, Everett Potter, picked up on this in his article. In spite of the fact that Park City is now home to only the third Montage Hotel, a St. Regis and a Waldorf Astoria, as Mr. Potter says, you can still “wear last year’s Bogner and ski on those sticks you’ve had for years.” Well, that’s what I do. Although I guess after 7 ski seasons, it’s probably time for me to buy a new ski outfit. Photo below is the lobby of the Waldorf Astoria. If you visit, don’t miss “Spruce”, one of my favorite local restaurants, located at the Waldorf Astoria Park City.
