Center of Activity

Prospector is one of Park City’s oldest neighborhoods, offering a mix of uses that includes commercial, dining, lodging, and residential. With flat streets and a series of family-friendly cul-de-sacs, the neighborhood includes a variety of diverse housing options and is within walking distance to three schools. Prospector provides easy access to Highway 40 for commuting to Salt Lake City.

There are reasonably priced single-family neighborhoods with full-time residents (Prospector Park) and nightly rentals (Prospector Village) as well as hotel-condominiums such as the Carriage House and The Prospector Lodge, which is also headquarters to the Sundance Film Festival. These neighborhoods are bordered by The Rail Trail, which connects to the Park City trail system. There are also neighborhood parks and the popular Silver Mountain Sports Club. Residents who enjoy being in the center of activity enjoy living in Prospector. The Prospector neighborhoods are almost all full-time local residents and make wonderful family homes.
